Security and privacy settings for MCP connections

MCP connections now support independent security controls to prevent editing live data and accessing sensitive profile attributes. Both settings are disabled by default to protect sensitive data from AI tools unless explicitly enabled.

You can now independently control whether MCP connections can edit live data and access sensitive profile attributes. By default, both settings are off, ensuring that your external AI tools using our MCP connections can’t inadvertently expose sensitive data to AI tools or touch things like live segments and campaigns unless you explicitly let them.
