Feature

Send WhatsApp messages with Twilio content templates

You can now select Twilio content templates directly when creating WhatsApp messages in automations and broadcasts, eliminating the need to copy/paste template content between platforms. Customer.io fetches the template and exposes its fields for you to fill in.

Before this release, you had to copy/paste content from Twilio into Customer.io before you could send a WhatsApp message. Now, when you add a WhatsApp message to an automation or broadcast, you can simply select your Twilio content template. We fetch the template and expose the fields you can fill in so you don’t have to leave Customer.io.
