Sunsetting the legacy in-app editor

Customer.io is phasing out the legacy in-app editor in two stages: on October 1, 2025, it becomes edit-only for existing messages, and on January 31, 2026, it becomes read-only. Existing in-app messages will continue to work and won't be deleted.

We’re phasing out the legacy editor in two stages: On October 1, 2025, the legacy editor becomes edit-only. You can continue editing messages in the legacy editor, but you won’t be able to create new ones. On January 31, 2026, the legacy editor becomes read-only. You’ll still be able to see messages in the legacy editor, and they’ll continue working—but you won’t be able to edit them. We won’t delete your existing in-app messages!
