Improved tables functionality with merge cells and spreadsheet import

Tables (formerly grids) now support merging cells, copying content from Excel and Google Sheets, preserving formatting on paste, and improved UX for row/column management and table repositioning. These additions enable better board organization and team templates.

Merge cells, copy from spreadsheets, and more! Starting today the updated version of tables (formerly ‘grids’) is available to all Miro users.  What’s new?  We added the top-requested functionality – the ability to merge cells, which unlocks even more possibilities for organizing your board content visually and creating robust templates for your team It is now possible to copy content from Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets to Miro tables  You can now copy and paste content between cells without losing formatting We updated overall user experience for tables making adding and deleting rows & columns and moving the table on the board more intuitive  You can learn more about using tables in Miro in the Help Center.
