Improved wireframing, voting, app marketplace guidelines, and sticky note onboarding
Miro enhanced its wireframing tools with refreshed components and device types for faster prototyping, improved voting visibility with plus icons, streamlined the app submission process for the Miro Marketplace with clearer guidelines, and added helpful hints for new users creating sticky notes.
Create wireframes in Miro quicker than before Miro’s updated Wireframing functionality enables you to create simple low-fidelity prototypes of website pages and product screens in a matter of minutes – even if you don't have much design experience. We refreshed the component library – added new device types, interactive UI components, and a searchable built-in icon library. Visit Help Center and watch the video to learn more, and let us know what you think in Miro Community. More intuitive voting Now it's easier to understand what you can vote for in Miro – we show 'plus' icons when the voting session starts. All that is left to do – pick the objects on the board you want to vote for.
A more streamlined process for adding apps to Miro Marketplace Our team has updated the Getting published in Miro Marketplace section of our website to make sure developers clearly understand how to create an app that will be the best fit for Miro Marketplace, get the design approved, and comply with security guidelines. Check it out and visit Developer Forum to give us feedback, ask questions, and network with fellow developers. Getting started with sticky notes just got easier We added a hint 'Double click to type' for first-time Miro users – it is shown when you hover over your first three sticky notes created in Miro.
Miro now integrates with Claude Design, allowing designs to be sent directly to boards in one click. Additionally, Prototype Variations lets teams generate and compare multiple design directions from a single prompt side by side before committing to a direction.
Connect Miro to Claude Code via MCP to push code explorations directly onto the canvas as prototype screens, enabling teams to collaborate and align on next steps in a single workspace.
Miro now enables improved conversion of screenshots and Figma assets into connected prototypes, automatically matching UI structure and styling from your original designs to create natural multi-screen flows. This functionality is included in the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
