Miro is launching a new reactions feature that lets teams express themselves with emojis and raise hands during meetings and workshops to boost engagement. Additionally, a new foundational course on Miro Academy teaches core skills for creating, collaborating, and using Miro effectively.

We’ve listened to your feedback and learned that one of the biggest challenges teams face is how to build, and maintain engagement throughout meetings and workshops. That’s why we’re launching the reactions feature that can boost engagement during meetings and workshops by giving everyone a chance to express themselves. Select from six emojis to express how you feel at any time during meetings and workshops Raise your hand if you want to speak up and facilitators will get notified Facilitators will be able to lower hands Reactions feature is available for all users and board owners will be able to turn the option off and back on. In this course, we’ll walk through the core skills to get you creating and collaborating in Miro. Learn how to navigate, create content, edit templates, build presentations, invite collaborators and teammates for asynchronous and synchronous collaboration. This course will have you taking full advantage of Miro!
Miro now integrates with Claude Design, allowing designs to be sent directly to boards in one click. Additionally, Prototype Variations lets teams generate and compare multiple design directions from a single prompt side by side before committing to a direction.
Connect Miro to Claude Code via MCP to push code explorations directly onto the canvas as prototype screens, enabling teams to collaborate and align on next steps in a single workspace.
Miro now enables improved conversion of screenshots and Figma assets into connected prototypes, automatically matching UI structure and styling from your original designs to create natural multi-screen flows. This functionality is included in the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
