Miro .new shortcuts, Atlassian Smart Links, and Monday.com Live Embed integration
Miro adds Google-powered .new shortcuts (miro.new, workshop.new, wireframe.new) for quick board creation, introduces Atlassian Smart Links for embedding Miro boards in Confluence and Jira with multiple view options, and launches a Live Embed integration for Monday.com to embed live boards as project views.
Do something .new with Miro shorcuts Using Miro just got simpler and more fun with these three easy-to-remember shorcuts powered by Google. Embed Miro boards in Confluence and Jira with new Atlassian Smart Links Link to, preview, or embed your Miro boards directly on your Confluence pages and Jira tickets with the new Atlassian Smart Links functionality. To add a Miro Smart Link, simply paste your board URL link on a Confluence page or Jira ticket or type “/link” to insert. Once pasted, you can display the board as one of three options: A small “inline” link which can quickly show anyone viewing the page what the board title is. A more impactful “card” view where you can see more information about the board, including a thumbnail preview and the time it was last updated. A full embed, where anyone with the appropriate permissions can view, comment, or edit the live board. Note: The board permissions are what is set in the board sharing settings. Embed live Miro boards in Monday.com Use the new Miro Live Embed integration to instantly access and collaborate on Miro boards from right within your monday.com projects. With Miro's Live Embed you can access boards as a unique project “View” to: Document whiteboarding exercizes, workshops, remote project kick-offs, and retrospectives to give context to the work being tracked in monday.com. Create a visual project hub to house all research, visual assets, and wireframes, so project stakeholders can visualize the progression of your project from concept to execution. Miro now integrates with Claude Design, allowing designs to be sent directly to boards in one click. Additionally, Prototype Variations lets teams generate and compare multiple design directions from a single prompt side by side before committing to a direction.
Connect Miro to Claude Code via MCP to push code explorations directly onto the canvas as prototype screens, enabling teams to collaborate and align on next steps in a single workspace.
Miro now enables improved conversion of screenshots and Figma assets into connected prototypes, automatically matching UI structure and styling from your original designs to create natural multi-screen flows. This functionality is included in the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
