New Miroverse templates and categories, and Team Plan billing updates
Miroverse now includes 35 new templates across five new categories including Design Sprints, Ice Breakers, Education, and Fun & Games to help users find content more easily. Team Plan billing has been updated to charge for new seats on the subscription anniversary date instead of month-end, improving billing stability and clarity.
New templates added to Miroverse We added 35 new templates to Miroverse and introduced a few new categories to help you navigate all of the great content: Discover the latest Miroverse templates from the Miro community every month in the Newly Added category Find warm-up activities for your next team meeting in the Ice Breakers category Use 10 different flavours of design sprints (with even more to come later this year) from the Design Sprints category Explore the different ways you can use Miro for fun with templates from the Fun & Games category Stimulate curiosity beyond the classroom with templates from the Education category Team Plan billing updates We changed the way we charge for the new seats added during the subscription billing period on the Team Plan. This change will make our billing infrastructure more stable and scalable, and billing experience – easier and clearer for our customers. We used to take payment for new team members at the end of the month (e.g. if you added new team members on the 14th of the month, we would charge you for additional team members on the last day of the same month). Now we are changing that to be the same as date as the day when you subscribed to Miro. For example, if you subscribed on September 10, 2020, your team members' payment date wil be the 10th of the month. If you invite a new team member on September 14, 2020, will charge you for this user for the first time on October 10, 2020. If you have feedback, questions or suggestions about any of these features, please, visit Miro Community to let us know what you think.
Miro now integrates with Claude Design, allowing designs to be sent directly to boards in one click. Additionally, Prototype Variations lets teams generate and compare multiple design directions from a single prompt side by side before committing to a direction.
Connect Miro to Claude Code via MCP to push code explorations directly onto the canvas as prototype screens, enabling teams to collaborate and align on next steps in a single workspace.
Miro now enables improved conversion of screenshots and Figma assets into connected prototypes, automatically matching UI structure and styling from your original designs to create natural multi-screen flows. This functionality is included in the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
