New API endpoints, OpenAPI spec, and interactive API docs
Tailscale has released new OpenAPI specification and interactive API documentation, along with comprehensive new API endpoints for logging, webhook management, device posture, user management, invites, and contact preferences. The OpenAPI spec definition may change without notice and should not be relied upon for stability.

New API endpoints
We have added the following endpoints to Tailscale's public API:
Logging endpoints- New: Get log streaming status.
- New: Get log streaming configuration.
- New: Set log streaming configuration.
- New: Disable log streaming.
- Changed: Created a new endpoint for listing configuration audit logs. An earlier version of this endpoint is still supported for backwards compatibility.

- New: List all webhooks for a tailnet.
- New: Create a new webhook.
- New: Update a webhook.
- New: Delete a webhook.
- New: Test a webhook.

- New: Create a posture integration.
- New: Update a posture integration.
- New: Delete a posture integration.
- New: List all users in the tailnet.
- New: Get details about a specific user.
- New: Update the role for a specific user.
- New: Approve a pending user's access to the tailnet. This is only applicable to tailnets that have enabled user approval.
- New: Suspend a user. Available for the Personal and Enterprise plans.
- New: Restore a suspended user. Available for the Personal and Enterprise plans.
- New: Delete a user. Available for the Personal and Enterprise plans.
- New: List all open (not yet accepted) user invites to the tailnet.
- New: Create user invite links and send user invite emails.
- New: Get details for a specific user invite.
- New: Delete an open (not yet accepted) user invite.
- New: Resend an open (not yet accepted) user invite that was originally sent via email.
- New: List all open (not yet accepted) device invites.
- New: Create device invite links and send device invite emails.
- New: Get details for a specific device invite.
- New: Delete an open (not yet accepted) device invite.
- New: Resend an open (not yet accepted) device invite.
- New: Accept a device invite to your tailnet.
