Updated UI to prevent accidental tailnet policy file changes
New Policy file management page in the admin console allows users to prevent accidental policy file changes and specify external repository URLs for GitOps. The deprecated code comment technique for specifying GitOps repository URLs has been replaced by the Policy file management page setting, which now takes precedence.
- New: Policy file management page in the admin console. Use the Policy file management page to prevent accidental policy file changes.
- New: Use the External reference section in the Policy file management page to specify the URL for your GitOps for Tailscale repository.
- Changed: We deprecated the GitOps code comment technique for specifying the URL for your GitOps for Tailscale repository. Use the Policy file management page in the admin console instead. If you use both the Policy file management page and the code comment technique, the Policy file management setting has precedence.
