Edge Functions are now generally available

Edge Functions are now generally available with major infrastructure optimizations, improved cache-control support, region preference capabilities, and increased function size limits. This enables faster and more flexible serverless execution with instant cold starts for better end-user experience.

This changelog entry is historical. Edge Functions are deprecated for new projects. Use with the Node.js runtime and . Use for request-time routing before a response completes.Note:Vercel FunctionsFluid computeRouting Middleware
