More flexible Environment Variables in Edge Functions and Middleware

Environment variable limits have been increased to 64KB (up from 5KB) and variable names are now more flexible with dynamic name computation support. Environment variables are now more accessible in Edge Functions and Routing Middleware with fewer restrictions on naming and access patterns.

This changelog entry is historical. Edge Functions are deprecated for new projects. Use with the Node.js runtime and . Use for request-time routing before a response completes.Note:Vercel FunctionsFluid computeRouting Middleware
