Vercel has acquired Better Auth, the open-source TypeScript authentication library with 4.7M+ weekly npm downloads. The Better Auth team is joining Vercel to continue developing the framework-agnostic auth library and advance agent identity capabilities for authentication and agentic infrastructure.
