Vercel Connect now supports TanStack AI
Vercel Connect adds support for TanStack AI agents to call OAuth-protected MCP servers with automatic token management and no credential storage required. The new connectMCPTransport subpath export integrates Connect-backed auth that provides fresh tokens before every request and handles consent challenges before the model executes.
Agents built with TanStack AI can now call OAuth-protected MCP servers through Vercel Connect, with no credentials for you to store or rotate.

If the user has not granted access, fails with a consent challenge before the model runs. Catch it with and redirect to Connect's consent URL.
