Asana Release Notes August 2024
This release adds stacked bar charts for task visualization, notes view in projects, shared teams bulk add, Outlook email automation rules, goal progress tracking, bundle duplication, portfolio date formulas, sandbox environments, calendar multi-filtering, custom field rule triggers, dynamic variables in rules, and iOS home customization.

- Stacked bar charts: Gain an understanding of both the quantity and status of tasks at once with a stacked bar chart.
- Notes view in projects : Flexibly add and customize notes within a project for meeting notes, jotting down ideas, and more.
- Shared teams in projects : Quickly bulk add members by sharing projects with up to ten teams in Asana.
- Outlook “send email” action in rules: Send automated emails from Outlook based on rules in Asana.
- Goal progress over time: Use the chart on the goal’s detail page to visualize the progress of your goal overtime.
- Duplicate bundles: Quickly create a new bundle by duplicating the components of an existing bundle.
- “Today” input in portfolio custom fields: Create a dynamic, date based formula custom field using the current date at the portfolio level.
- Sandbox landing page in admin console: Request a sandbox environment directly from the admin console to safely test new features and processes.
- Multi-filter on calendar view: Apply filters to your calendar in month and week view.
- “Number custom field changed” rule trigger: Set up a rule to trigger when the value of a number custom field changes.
- Variable in the set text custom field: Create more powerful and flexible rules using dynamic variables in the “set text custom field” action.
- Home customization in ioS: create a personalized Home experience from your mobile phone.
